Additional parts and or modifications normally needed to replace a Ford Right Hand engine and 1:1 ratio transmission:
The engine and trans will now sit level so everything usually fits under the old engine cover. The PCM 1.23:1 transmission is longer than the 1:1 Velvet Drive so you will need to shorten the drive shaft. The 1.23:1 ratio will require a 13 X16 or similar propeller.
A fuel return line to the gas tank is needed for the electronic fuel injection, we have a t-fitting available to send it back into the fuel fill hose.
The new engine uses a round style wiring harness plug and an adapter is available to connect it to the old style rectangular plug on the boat side (so old guages will function).
